The painting is oil on canvas board, depicting a loose arrangement of vegetables on a surface with a profusion of leafy greens in the background. The colors are fresh looking and beautiful. This is a misty scene that gives the painting a feeling of tranquility. It is signed Walter Neis 9/29. I have never found out who he might have been, The painting measures approximately 16.5" by 12.5", not including the frame.

It is framed in a gold frame that has been painted. The site dimensions are 11.5" by 8.5". The frame, at the corners measures 16.5" by 13.5".
