Offered here is a vintage silver tray (not sterling)with a pierced edge ebonized wood handles and ball feet. The wood cutting board has a well and other grooves for draining juices. A very nice looking item to go from grill or over to the table for serving. 16.5" by 10.5", not including the handles.
Offered here is a lovely, old set for carving meat or game. It is made of antler with with sterling silver caps with a monogram, and sterling ferrules. The fork is 10" and the knife is 14" long. The knife blade is marked A.J. Jordan, Sheffield, England, AAA1. This mark dates the set between 1876-1926. The knife sharpener, while not of the set, is my favorite. Offered here is an irresistible small table made of oak in a charmingly whimsical style. It has a carved edge and apron, and a bentwood semi-circle in the front, along with turned spindles and turned legs. The trim around the black stained or painted top is on three sides, which means the back is meant to face the wall. There is a vaguely Asian feel to it. A good, tall pair of candlesticks in the style of the early Georgian ones. These are modern, made in the 20th century. Made of brass, measuring 12" tall.
Here we have a fine looking bulldog made of cold painted metal. It is cast very well with good detailing, with a good face, and only minor paint loss. 5" nose to tail and 3" high at the head. I guess you could say he's a good looking fella...for a bulldog.
Offered here is a smallish...9" in diameter copper kettle with beautiful patina. The way copper colors over time is is just lovely, and this has subtle shades of warm colors from orange and rose to purple. This kettle has handles, is 9" across, 4.5" deep and the base is 6.5" in diameter. Not spun, it is made by hand, early 20th century.
Offered here is a charming pair of white enamel candlesticks with red strawberries throughout the foliage. They are Italian, mid century, and stand approximately 9" tall. Really cute and chippy in places. I will separate the pair if you only need one.
Offered here is a sweet mid century Italian tole candlestick with red cherries among pale green leaves. The candle cup is like an opening flower. Appropriate wear. The candle holder is 8.5".
Here we have a vintage Portuguese vase (I have two of these) standing nearly 13" in height, hand painted blue on white in motifs of flowers, animals and castles. The vase has a flared opening over a slender neck and a bulbous bottom section and a low footed base. Signed. Fourth quarter of the 20th century.
Offered here is a very attractive blue and white lamp finial with a geometric design on each broad side and a figure on each side of the edge. There is an impressed mark on the bottom but I could not get a photo of it. I have two of these but they are being sold individually. They measure 3" in height.
