Offered here is a pair of blue and white Chinese lamps with new hand made silk shades and lapis finials. The bases have a crackle glaze and are decorated with various flora and fauna. They are probably early 20th century. Each is a little over 21" to the top of the shade and about 3.5" in diameter. They are priced separately. (NOTE: One of the lamps is now sold.)

Offered here is a six panel silk embroidered screen hand made in Japan around 1910. The six panels are black silk. The four interior panels are embroidered with tall irises, naturalistic in form, and three kingfishers flying towards them. The colors are soft and subtle in pale shades of silver, gold, blue, and celadon, punctuated with black on the throats of the birds. The ground is a soft black. Shown here are three English barley twist candlesticks. The two smaller ones are sold as a pair for $175.00. They are 12" high with metal bobeches. The tall one is 16" and has a metal candle cup. It is priced at $139.00. They all have great surface and patina. The 16" candlestick has old damage to the lower turning in several places but it is obviously far from recent and merely adds to the charm and authenticity of the piece. Early 20th century.

Here we have a mid 20th century hand blown bottle in a beautiful turquoise color in a charming misshapen square form. It is an utterly charming piece for a shelf or a table. It stands about 7" high and the bottom is 4" square.

Offered here is a very sweet little toleware box in black with a gilt edge and gilt flower and foliage on the top. It's not terribly old, I would say 1960 perhaps, but it is done in the old way. It is real gold leaf, not gold paint, and it is hand painted not stenciled. It is a nice size for jewelry or cards, or anything you can think of. Best of all it is not pricey. The little box measures 7.5" by 5" by 1.5".

Offered here is a wonderful lamp made from an oak and pewter, or pewter colored metal, in Art Nouveau motifs of pond lilies and lily pads. It has a black silk shade and an attractive finial. The lamp is 22" high and 7" at the base. The humidor would date to about 1895-1905.

Offered here is a very pretty small dish having a border decorated in a foliate motif painted by hand with copper lustre leaves and red vines (a wonderfully unexpected combination) on an ivory ground. The plate 5.75" in diameter and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. It is stamped on the back "WEDGWOOD" and "MADE IN ENGLAND" and is 20th century, after 1930.

Here we have my latest tole tray, found on my recent shopping trip and, if the color alone isn't just over the moon, the pierced edge and the charming little hand painted scene is. The size is a substantial 21.5" by 14.5" and it is in good condition with the expected scratches and evidence of age and use. Early 20th century.

Offered here is a pair of hand carved, gilt wood sunburst mirrors with beautiful ghosty or spotty glass. These were made in Italy, mid century or perhaps a little earlier. The gilding is pretty much entirely intact. There are areas of wear where the red bole shows through slightly (which we like) and a few of the rays are missing their tips (which we also don't mind a bit), but we consider ourselves lucky to have found a pair of real ones, not new and not resin.
