Offered here is a very pretty small dish having a border decorated in a foliate motif painted by hand with copper lustre leaves and red vines (a wonderfully unexpected combination) on an ivory ground. The plate 5.75" in diameter and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. It is stamped on the back "WEDGWOOD" and "MADE IN ENGLAND" and is 20th century, after 1930.
Offered here is a beautiful old platter in the lovely, old Moss Rose pattern. English, early 20th century, made by Maddock & Co. Burslem, England. This platter is in very fine condition. There are no losses to the enameled designs. There are losses all around the gilt enamel edge. No chips, cracks or repairs. The platter measures 18.5" by 13".
10 (ten) Gaudy Welsh plates in the oyster pattern, made by Allertons, circa 1912. Each plate is 10" in diameter with a scalloped edge. The edge is trimmed in a deep rose red enamel. The front of the plate has the typical design in indigo, iron red, rose, green, and pink and copper lustre. Very few flaws in any of the plates...some small losses to the enamel around the edge, some minor crazing, and that's about all.
