These wonderful little French cachepots have among their many attributes the fabulous colors of yellow and puce. Each little pot has a different scene painted in this wonderful color on the front and the back, and each pot has slightly different scenes than the other. We have little fat cherubs on one side and a serene little landscape on the other. Offered here is a beautiful Louis style French porcelain box with ormolu trim for trinkets or stamps or...nothing at all. The colors are bright and the design of roses and other small flowers, and the c-scrolls are hand painted. The bottom is marked with a mark similar to an old Sevres mark and "made in France". The little box is in fine condition and measures 2.5" by 2.5" and it is 1.5" high. Early-ish 20th century.
Offered here is a fine, hand decorated game bird platter and 10 plates. The were made in Limoges, France and were decorated by Lazeyrus, Rosenfeld and Lehman, circa 1920. There are 3 plates with a mallard (?) drake and hen, three plates with a pair of quail, two plates with either doves or some type of grouse, and two plates with a duck and a baby duck. The platter is quail with young. The platter measures 16" and the plates are 8.5".
Offered here is one of a pair of late 19th- early 20th century French transferware sauce tureens with the under tray and ladle. The design is one of roses and lattice in green on a white ground. This one has a tiny fleabite on the lid that is barely visible. There are no other flaws that I see. The tureen is 7.5" across. The tray is 9" by 6". Including the tray and to the top of the finial the tureen is about 4.5" high. No markings.

Here we have a lovely pair of hand painted Old Paris scent bottles dating to the late 19th century. The two bottles are identical, each having dark green panels painted with a little spray of roses and other flowers. The stopper of each bottle is dark green with a spray of roses also. The corners of the bottles are notched with gilt enameling and the top is gilt enameled in a foliate design. One bottle is perfect.
