This is a cool old ironwork bracket made into a wall shelf. It has a wonderful early surface of paint in a beautiful color...ice blue or sort of celadon. The wooden shelf is a steel blue color. As you can see, it has a wonderful look. The bracket is 19th century. It is 11" high. The wooden shelf is 8" deep by 5" across. I have a small stack of books displayed on it, so you can see that it is sturdy.
Here we have 2 pairs of beautiful, cast gilt brass drapery tiebacks in the Regency style. These were made in the 20th century, 2nd half I would say. The backplate is 4.75" and the arm extends out 6" from the backplate. They are in very fine condition with only some slight wear to the gilding. No breaks or repairs.
Here we have a great looking folding screen of room divider size that is covered in antique French prints. The ground is a mellow color of ochre, and it looks rich and old, although I am certain it is early-ish 20th century. It is papered in some type of heavy paper on the back, of the same ochre color.
