Fabulous early-ish 20th century armchair, probably Italian in origin, but I can't be sure. The color of the chair is what hooked me, that and the wonderful painted Adamesque decoration. The chair is lime green and has a yellow seat. The urn form splat is painted much like an urn might be, with medallions, swags, etc., and a head and a lion.
