Offered here is one of the best lamps I've had...a cold painted metal lamp of an African American male figure, on one knee, holding a wreath above his head. The wreath is green with some kind of red fruit in it and a red ribbon at the back. The figure is kneeling on a mound, a tiny landscape with flowers and foliage in relief. Here we have a fabulous old toleware light, made in Italy early-ish 20th century. It has been converted to electric, was originally for a candle. The snuffer is attached. The color has a wonderfully rich patina on aqua with blue scrolls. The shade is adjustable up and down. The lamp measures 25 inches high from the bottom of the base to the top of the ring. Offered here is a pair of blue and white Chinese lamps with new hand made silk shades and lapis finials. The bases have a crackle glaze and are decorated with various flora and fauna. They are probably early 20th century. Each is a little over 21" to the top of the shade and about 3.5" in diameter. They are priced separately. (NOTE: One of the lamps is now sold.)
Offered here is a wonderful lamp made from an oak and pewter, or pewter colored metal, in Art Nouveau motifs of pond lilies and lily pads. It has a black silk shade and an attractive finial. The lamp is 22" high and 7" at the base. The humidor would date to about 1895-1905.
Offered here is a wonderful, early 20th century Italian vase form lamp in original paint. Once white with gilt edges, it has mellowed with time to a soft, uneven cream color with burnished gold accents. It is tastefully simple with a lovely form. It appears to have been rewired recently. It has a large gilt wood finial that does not appear to be original to the lamp, as it strikes me as being out of proportion.
