Offered here is a hand thrown Japanese plate in the form of a very fat fish in a rich celadon glaze with umber. Approximately 7.5" in diameter, perfect condition, 20th century.

Offered here is a six panel silk embroidered screen hand made in Japan around 1910. The six panels are black silk. The four interior panels are embroidered with tall irises, naturalistic in form, and three kingfishers flying towards them. The colors are soft and subtle in pale shades of silver, gold, blue, and celadon, punctuated with black on the throats of the birds. The ground is a soft black. Offered here is a fine matched pair of 8.5" famille rose vases. They are hand enameled in the typical colors and have alternating panels of figural groups and flower panels with birds and insects. The vases are 8.5" tall and are in very fine condition. Circa 1900.
Offered here is a gorgeous circa 1900 Japanese imari plate or low bowl. Alternating panels depict cranes in a landscape. There is a lot of gilt enameled work on the plate, either as background or in the various motifs. This plate is 8.5" in diameter.
