SOLD

This is a great old drug jar with beautiful color and this wonderful gilded label that is mostly still there. It is not a paper label, but was applied directly to the bottle. It is real gilding and not just gold colored paint. That may be old news to you, but I don't know bottles of this sort, I simply bought the bottle for the color and the label and what's written on the label. It says "PICK ME UP". There is something written beneath that, but only the first 2 letters ar ...click for details

Here we have an interesting relic of a religious figure in the form of a hand with a pointing finger. It is hand carved and has been mounted on a wooden stand. It has a rich, dark patina to which a later (though still early) finish has been added. The hand measures approximately 7.5" overall.

This is a very glamorous accessory for those of us who still smoke (which I remember still with fondness). Nowadays this piece of art can carry business cards (or the money you have saved by not smoking). The case is in excellent condition inside and out. It is a little over 3.5" by 3" in size. Dates to around 1930.

This is a fabulous party piece from NYC. Silver soldered, by International Silver, it holds 5 gallons. The bottom is stamped THE PLAZA. The hotel monogram is on the front and shown in the 2nd picture. The condition is good though the inside is worn. It looks great filled with ice and canned or bottled drinks or as a container for a fabulous flower arrangement. I wouldn't use it to serve punch without a liner. The punch bowl is 17" in diameter and stands 11" high.

This is an adorable small set of furniture of simple construction incorporating cut out sillouettes of cats. The faces of the cats are and painted in black with a great deal of naive charm. The little chair rocks, the bench is stationary. The paint is sky blue and is chippy in places where little hands and little doll's heads have been. There is a little flake where a nail's direction was misjudged a little, and a portion of the nail is exposed there. The bench is 7" across and ...click for details
