Offered here is a fine, large white ironstone platter by T&R Boote, 1853. It is almost flawless. There is no crazing, no chips, cracks or repairs, and no rough spots, barely any utensil marks on the surface. I do not know the pattern, or form. The registry mark is on the back and is pictured. The tray is quite heavy, and measures 18" by 14".

Offered here is surely one of the prettiest pieces of early porcelain I ever saw. I do not know the maker, and it isn't marked. It is early, dating to around 1820-30. The cup and saucer are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is a little wear to the serpent form handle, just on the inside where the finger goes.

Here we have a large jug, circa 1820, of lustre on an ivory ground with a pearlware glaze, featuring a relief motif of hunting dogs in a landscape. On one side a spaniel has flushed a quail from the bush. The other side has two bird dogs, possibly on point. There is a top border of leaves and vines in lustre, a dog head handle in lustre, and a border at the bottom in alternating colors of lustre and green enamel. For a large and early piece that is so thinly potted, the jug is in very good c ...click for details

This is a fine, large flow blue meat platter, measuring a very generous 20" by 15.5", with the well and tree depression in the bottom, and is raised on a 1" rim. The pattern is BOHEMIA, marked KAOLIN WARE, and the registry mark indicates a patent date of 1844. There are 2 marks on the platter, one being clearly a manufacturing flaw. The other one looks like it is part in the making, because the glaze covers it, but it looks also like that was the point at which some rubbing occ ...click for details

This is a wonderful 19th century majolica jug with a lion on each side. The colors are scrumptuous, as all majolica is, and it has that deep raspberry interior. I think this in English, but I could be wrong. There is one little glaze gap on the spout, in the making, that is felt more than seen, otherwise no flaws. Not quite 4.5" high.
