Here we have a bright and beautiful majolica dish in vibrant red, green and gold. Made in England around 1880, the dish is in lovely condition. There are some gaps in the glaze around the edge that are very hard to see, and they look to be more in the making than actual damage. The dish is 8" by 6" approximately.

This is a beautiful, early piece of English ironstone in near perfect condition, dating to around 1820. Rich imari colors and gilding decorate both sides, the lid, the foot, and the interior, and the design is the same on both sides. It measures around 13", handle to handle, and is about 12" high. The condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks or repairs, and only the slightest wear of the gilding, and really only on the high spots. Well cared for all these years!

Here we have a wonderful, large majolica jug of Gladstone, the victorian Prime Minister of England (this information offered by a kind but anonymous visitor to my catalog)with a scroll in hand, as though hiding it from view. The colors are beautiful...the coat is jade and the collar is lavender, with yellow, green and lavender mixed on the handle in sort of a braid. The condition is very fine. The spots on his head and face are of the same color as the hair and appear to be in the making. ...click for details

A fine and unusual Parian vase by Robbins & Ledbeater, c1886, made in the style of 3 bamboo stalks tied together. Stands 5.5" high. There is one very tiny spot that could be a miniscule chip on the rim, but is more likely in the making since it feels and looks too smooth to be damage.
