Hand worked in a lively and colorful paisley motif on a green ground, it is attached to a linen backing and trimmed with ribbon. The backing is somewhat soiled and frayed, but not objectionably so. The needlepoint is in fine condition but would benefit from reblocking. It measures approximately 18" by 12".

The pillow is needlepoint, with the floral design in petipoint. The colors are rich and deep...chocolate, rose, blue, pale gold, green. The fringe that surrounds the pillow is multicolored silk and picks up the colors in the needlepoint very nicely. The back is finished in a loden green. The size is approximately 15" square. The pillow is clean and in excellent condition.
