This is an interesting piece to me as the dog is depicted with his mouth open, panting. I have not seen one like that before. Also, I cannot quite figure out what kind of metal it is. It has a smoothness to it and kind of a soft feel that makes me think of lead, but I don't think it is heavy enough to be lead. Perhaps it is pewter. Nevertheless, it is a delightful piece, in black to gun metal gray with a red rope and tassel around the dog's neck. His eyes make him have a slightly m ...click for details

This is a very handsome sculpture of a woman's torso, of metal with a bronze or bronze colored finish. This was done in the middle of the 20th century, and the finish has sustained about 3 very small nicks since that time. They are not troublesome overall, and could be touched up if someone felt it important to do so. She is a very handsome figure, and stands nearly 15" tall on a teak base. Fine condition except as noted.

This is a wonderful, small sculpture of a fine fat sow. The pig is seated on a black oval base, one leg tucked under. Very well cast, realistically modelled and painted. The paint is nearly all intact, with a little wear on the high spots, some hand grime, and some paint has crusted up near the mouth. This pig has a terrific tail. The metal is probably spelter, but I do not know what the base is other than it is not marble. Nothing to indicate the country of origin, but I associate this ki ...click for details

Outstanding, small black and tan dog of, probably spelter. Very well cast. Most of the paint is intact, "just enough" missing to give the look we like. 4" nose to tail, 2" to the top of his head.

Offered here is a handsome sculpture of a hunting dog on point. The sculpture is of spelter or other metal, the dog finished with a bronze patina, the base in black. It makes a striking contrast. The dog is well modelled with nice detail. Possibly an old repair to the tip of the tail but I'm not sure. The base is 8 1/2" and the sculpture is just under 4".

This is a very nice, vintage piece, probably dating to around 1920 or so. The dog is cast of white metal with a bronze patina, and it is very well cast with much nicer detail than the new ones I've seen. I love the regal pose. Approximately 5" long and about 2 1/2" high to the tip of his nose.

This is just the greatest! Wait till you see the close up of his face! He is old, and beginning to show it a bit with a few cracks here and there (see picture #3), but he's probably got another hundred years left in him. He's about 7" long and about 4" tall at the highest spot. Offered for sale as is.
