This is an interesting piece to me as the dog is depicted with his mouth open, panting. I have not seen one like that before. Also, I cannot quite figure out what kind of metal it is. This is a very handsome sculpture of a woman's torso, of metal with a bronze or bronze colored finish. This was done in the middle of the 20th century, and the finish has sustained about 3 very small nicks since that time. They are not troublesome overall, and could be touched up if someone felt it important to do so. She is a very handsome figure, and stands nearly 15" tall on a teak base. Fine condition except as noted.

This is a wonderful, small sculpture of a fine fat sow. The pig is seated on a black oval base, one leg tucked under. Very well cast, realistically modelled and painted. The paint is nearly all intact, with a little wear on the high spots, some hand grime, and some paint has crusted up near the mouth. This pig has a terrific tail. The metal is probably spelter, but I do not know what the base is other than it is not marble. Nothing to indicate the country of origin, but I associate this ki ...click for details
