The table dates from the early to mid 20th century, but I believe the tiles are 19th century or earlier. There are 6 tiles that, together, form a mosaic of the Virgin Mary. The tiles may be Italian or Portuguese. The table is sturdy and well made. The dimensions are 18" by 12" by 17.5 " high.

Blue and white transfer allover pattern in a Persian motif, with key hole cut outs around the base. There are remnants of gold trim on the edges...just enough to make it sparkle in the sunlight, most of it has long since worn away. The foot is slightly flared and the seat is hexagonal with a bevelled edge and a 2" overhang. The top is 14" at it widest, and the seat stands 15" high approximately.
