| Offered here is a delightful painting of a landscape with a stream or small river running through a forest. The painting has the lovely flat planes and vaguely Asian feel to it that you see in some of the paintings of the Arts & Crafts Movement. This is a misty scene that gives the painting a feeling of tranquility. It is signed Walter Neis 9/29. I have never found out who he might have been, The painting measures approximately 16.5" by 12.5", not including the frame. | ||||||
