| Offered here is one of the best lamps I've had...a cold painted metal lamp of an African American male figure, on one knee, holding a wreath above his head. The wreath is green with some kind of red fruit in it and a red ribbon at the back. The figure is kneeling on a mound, a tiny landscape with flowers and foliage in relief. The lamp base is metal that is faux painted marble, and the lamp is raised on metal paw feet. The lamp has been rewired and modified for a standard bulb (I'm not quite sure what we had before, only that nothing fit), and has a new silk shade. The total height to the top of the shade is not quite 16". Truly a unique, genuinely early piece that you will never see again. Well, except that I have the other one of the pair that needs a repair to one of the feet on the base. When that is done, you will see another, but that's it. | ||||||||
