| Here we have a very, very charming piece for your table or your collection. Louis XV style, repousse, on little scrolled feet, it has a handle with a shell motif the center of which wrapped in laurel. The glass liners are original to the set, and are hand cut in a scallop around the top that corresponds to the shape of the silver. The marks, which are too small to take a picture of, are the 2nd standard mark, from 1838, and a Le Mans town mark plus the initials c and m. The set is in lovely condition. The silver is perfect, the glass has a few rough spots (very minimal). The size is almost 5" high and 5.5" across. | ||||||||
