| Offered here is a fine, large platter dating to approximately 1780. It has a crest and a banner with the words "Per ardua ad astra". There was a professional repair to the platter which may be visible in one of the pictures, but it is hard to see. The platter measures 16.5" by 14". It has a fine orange peel surface, only minimal wear to the crest. Handsome and rare. | |||||||||
