| Offered here is a very fine impressionist painting depicting a woman at a water pump on the grounds of a monastery in France. There are chickens in the yard. The subject of the painting is the charming architectural details of the building. It is very well painted and in the manner of Colin Campbell Cooper, but later of course. There is a notation referencing CC Cooper in pencil on the back of the board. The painting measures 10" by 12" as framed, and the image is 7" by 9". Very nice painting. | |||||||
