| When I bought this painting I first thought, Oh good, I can clean this right up with my new cleaning stuff! But I looked at it for a little while and decided I quite like it just as it is. It's really a wonderful little painting with very good composition and perspective and, as it is, it has a very atmospheric quality to it. I like the way the light shines through the windows of the structure, and the moonshine on the water backlights the boats into mere silhouettes. It is unsigned as far as I can tell. The painting is in it's original gilt wood frame which is in very nice condition. In the frame the painting measures 11.5" by 9.5". | |||||||
