| Offered here is a pair of hand carved, gilt wood sunburst mirrors with beautiful ghosty or spotty glass. These were made in Italy, mid century or perhaps a little earlier. The gilding is pretty much entirely intact. There are areas of wear where the red bole shows through slightly (which we like) and a few of the rays are missing their tips (which we also don't mind a bit), but we consider ourselves lucky to have found a pair of real ones, not new and not resin.
