| This is a stunning brooch of three large turquoise stones and eight pearls set in a conforming vermeil setting of very fine work. The stones have the lovely matrix and the pearls set them off beautifully without overpowering the turquoise. The effect is heart stopping without being gaudy. The pin is large, measuring a full three inches. The back is filigree. This is a modern Chinese piece made in the old style. | |||||
