Pr. of 20" Turned Wood Candlesticks, 19th Century
Offered here is a pair of truly fabulous candlesticks that are likely French in origin. They probably date to the early 19th century and possibly a bit earlier. They have impressive height (nearly 21"), and the most beautiful turned column. Each one is just slightly different, but close enough to be considered a pair. They have worm holes and nicks and bumps. The base at one time was drilled for lamps, but that has since been filled, and one candlestick has been repaired in a couple of places. They are sturdy and quite beautiful.
