This is an old advertising dish from the famous Moorcroft Pottery in Burslem England. A useful item for a trader dealing in Moorcroft.
The writing appears to have been hand drawn into the wet clay before being enamelled in olive green glaze. The white glaze of the dish has fine cracklelure.
