ROYAL DOULTON LAMBETH ART NOUVEAU VASE
This Royal Doulton stoneware, art nouveau vase, stands 10.5 inches (26 cms) tall. It was made by Lily Partington an artist employed at the Lambeth studio circa 1900. Her initials LP are to be seen inscribed in the base alongside the Doulton Lambeth pottery mark and the design number ‘8118’. The pottery at Lambeth London was founded by John Doulton and his partner John Watts in the 1820's initially trading as Doulton and Watts. The condition is very good with no discernible damage. |
