This old plate dates to late Victorian times, circa 1880. It was made at the famous Ashworth Bros. Pottery in the town of Hanley, Staffordshire, England. The polychrome chinoisierie decoration shows figures on a bridge that links two pagodas. When displayed there is no damage seen but there are three edge chips on the reverse.
