This is a super old plate that dates to late Victorian times, circa 1850 - 1880. The only mark is an impressed crown but the maker is not known. With research the mark and pattern could probably be traced and is likely to be one of the Staffordshire potteries in England. The beautiful blue and white decoration depicts a small boat as if viewed from a South Sea island. In great condition with no chips or cracks this octagonal plate is nearly 11 inches wide.
