Japanese Satsuma Reticulated Koro

Oval-shaped Satsuma ware incense burner, resting on three feet and covered with a lightly yellowish glaze. Body and cover are reticulated all over, the outer part, with a key fret border on the top, surrounding a solid inner body. The wooden box of the koro is signed Gyokumeizan; we date it from Showa period, mid-20th century.
Condition: The koro is in good condition, with no cracks or repairs, but there is a kiln flaw with a slight discoloration on the side and a minute chip, hardly visible, on the cover. Please, refer to the pictures. The koro comes in its original wooden box.
Dimensions: about 12.5 cm (4.9 in) in diameter (at the waist) and 10.2 cm (4 in) in height (with cover)
