Japanese Kiseto Incense Container by Yamaguchi Shigeru
Delightful Kiseto (”Yellow Seto”) kogo - incense container for the tea ceremony - by Yamaguchi Shigeru.
Yamaguchi Shigeru was born in 1925 in Seto City, in a long-established potter's family of Akatsu. His father is the famous Yamaguchi Jotetsu I. Yamaguchi Shigeru's production comprises different varieties of Seto ware, such as Kiseto, Shino, Setoguro and Oribe.
The condition of the kogo is perfect. It comes enclosed in its original signed wooden box.
