Roman Glass, Flask, 3rd century AD

$230 - or Best Offer - Inventory being renewed

vessel with large rim and a lattice designed body, which was probably molded with two similar halves. There is a visible inside crack, otherwise, the flask is in very good condition. It probably dates from the 3rd century AD and might have been made in the Eastern Mediterranean region.

From the private collection of a Japanese gentleman.
The flask will be shipped in a paulownia wood box, made to fit the artifact, as it is often customary in Japan for valuable objets.
The round stand visible on the pictures is included.

Please inquire if you have some questions. More pictures available on request.
