Stone fragment of a relief-sculpted Kannon Bosatsu. Clearly dated to the fifth year of the Genroku Era (1692), mid-Edo Period.

Height: 24 cm
Width: 35 cm
Depth: 13 cm.

A highly atmospheric 17th-century fragment comprising the head and upper mandorla of a standing Kannon Bosatsu, the original total height of which was approximately 90 cm, based on the height of this fragment.
