Nice size French pitcher, probably used for wine and water (separately, of course). I estimate the age is somewhere pre 1960. It appears to be in excellent condition with no cracks or chips; only firing faults, some of which are visible in the photo (but not as prominent as they appear in the photo). It is decorated with impressed marks creating horizontal bands in different sections around the pitcher. Quimper Dish with Brittany lady as a handle. Unique design. In all of my years shopping in France and collecting Quimper, this is the first and only piece like this that I have found.
