| Nice size French pitcher, probably used for wine and water (separately, of course). I estimate the age is somewhere pre 1960. It appears to be in excellent condition with no cracks or chips; only firing faults, some of which are visible in the photo (but not as prominent as they appear in the photo). It is decorated with impressed marks creating horizontal bands in different sections around the pitcher. The bottom has impressed marks consisting of the number 4, and in a circle, GRES du BERRY MADE IN FRANCE and within that circle, FAIT MAIN. It measures approximately 8 1/2 inches from spout to base. Decorators: Great for French Country decor. | ||
