| Burlap sacks have become popular for designers and decorators. I recently found two at a German antique and flea market. One is German and has the Bayerisch design which I think reflects the Bavarian region and also a source for some great German beer with the same blue and white design. The other is Dutch, from The Netherlands and has a nautical design of an anchor with the B monogram included in the design. They are typically used for unique and interesting upholstery; pillows; or other functional or decorative ideas. Age unknown, but I would estimate mid to late 1900s. Measures approx 4 foot 1 inch long and 3 foot 1/2 inch wide. | ||
