A scarce 2-1/8" sterling silver telescoping toothpick for a watch chain or chatelaine. This man's accessory features a telescoping slide and a 9k yellow gold toothpick blade. It has a loop for suspension, it is stamped STERLING SILVER on the body of the toothpick and 9CT on the blade. It weighs 3.9 grams and it is in excellent original condition with no dents, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a slight bend to the end of the blade. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. A modernist design pair of Mexican sterling silver swing-back cufflinks, made by H. Arriaca c1950s-60s. They measure 15/16" across the longest of the three sides; they have finely set dark green chrysacola stones and they weigh 13.6 grams. They are marked STERLING 925 TAXCO H. ARRIACA and they have a 2 bell mark; they are in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A simple and elegant 10K yellow gold tie pin or tack with a diamond, c1950-60. The diamond, which is a genuine round modern cut diamond, approximately 1-1/2 - 2 points in size, is bezel set in white gold in the centre of the oval back onyx. It measures 3/8" x 5/16" and it includes a gold plated brass bulldog with a t-bar. It is stamped with a makers mark that looks like P+ then 10k then a model number of 420. A nice gift. This item is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, losses, dents, monograms, corrosion, repairs or damage. An elegant late Victorian period 10k rose gold tie or bar pin c1880-90. This antique solid gold 1-3/4" bar or tie pin features an oval cabochon natural gray lace agate with a lovely glowy quality, and subtle orange tinged banding. The agate alone measures 1" x 1/2", and this pin closes with the original c-clasp. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, losses, corrosion or repairs but there is a split vicible in the gold bezel (setting) surrounding the agate (see picture 5). The gold bezel holding the agate is entirely soldered to the pin base, so will not split further, and only needs re-soldering for aesthetics, if preferred. The mark besides the 10K is an anchor, a maple leaf with an E and a lion, which are the marks used by P.W. Ellis & Co., Toronto (1852-1928).
