A cool set of three handmade duck scatter pins in gilt sterling silver c1940s. These pins have safety catches and they measure from 1-1/2" across to 1-1/4 x 1-1/8" across. They are stamped HANDMAID STERLING on the backs and they weigh a total of 11.8 grams. This set is in very good condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the loss of most of the original gilding, traces of which remain on the fronts of the pins. All

An attractively enamelled 2-1/4 x 1-1/2" sterling silver sweetheart pin from the World War I era. This brooch features a shield with a green, brown and yellow enamel maple leaf; the rest of the pin has a fine engine turned design with green and white enamel. A nice vintage retro engraved sterling silver 1" x 3/4" oval pendant on a silver chain c1950-60. The pendant is hand-engraved on one side and it is stamped STERLING with the Birks B in a hexagon maker's mark - it is a pendant, but not a locket, it does not open. The 17" sterling link chain has a springring catch and it is stamped ITALY 925. A very heavy 15-1/4" x 1-1/2" (unmarked but tested) high grade silver necklace comprised of what we think are imitation 18th century Indian silver coins soldered to mounts with double loops. The necklace is solid silver, but the coins appear to be fairly similar, so we are assuming they are not genuine period coins. It has a pin and loop style catch, and it weighs an impressive 137 grams of silver (4.4 troy ounces of silver).
