A scarce German Nazi-era World War II propaganda magazine published in 1940 for the occupying forces in Norway. This is the first issue (Nummer 1-2). Published in Oslo, this magazine was published monthly and featured the interests of Himmler. It also showed views of Norway, including arts and culture. This 11-3/4" x 8-1/2" booklet/magazine has 41 pages with cardstock covers; it has pages of Norwegian and German advertising, photos of German officers, historical scenes, art and landscapes as well as lifestyle articles and sports. This propaganda rarity is in excellent original condition with no tears, staining, fading, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor wrinkles at the spine, a bruised corner with some minor and shallow creasing to the corners and some slight foxing on a few pages, a 1/16" loss to the pink paper on the cover (the white dot), as well as a pencil HELBER name on the back cover.
