An ornate, large 19th century carved bone fan, with fine lace-trimmed silk and metal sequins. This 14" fan extends to 27" across; it features finely carved decorative bone end panels, complex and well-executed silk lace on the upper edge, and sewn gold-coloured spangles or sequins in three different shapes. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. A rare and exotic authentic period Art Deco gilt brass and purple glass bead mesh head covering or skullcap hat c1920s. This unusual and fabulous fashion accessory would have been the height of fashion at a speakeasy or dance club; it consists of large gilt brass loops, gold plated chains and purple glass beads. It is unsigned and it measures 13" long when suspended from the central loop and 11-1/2" across the chain mail. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use.

A stylish Retro fully glass beaded purse c1950s-60. This 7-1/2" x 5" completely glass beaded purse has a gold plated frame with large rhinestones on the clasp and silver coloured mesh handle; it has fine metallic glass beads in gunmetal gray, gold, copper and silver on a white bead ground. It has the original silky lining and Du-Val Hong Kong tag, and it appears unused. Really stunning - it will go with anything. Please note that the flash has washed the colours out a little bit. The bag is clean, no musty smell, and came from a smoke-free spot. This item is in excellent original condition with no breaks, stains, spotting, losses, damage or repairs. A large gilt brass highly embossed powder box c1900. This box measures 4-5/8" across and it stands 1-5/8" high; they were made to commemorate and early 1900s World's Fair (St. Louis?). This one includes the original clear glass liner, interior gilding, and the original mirror in the lid. It is unsigned, and we have seen these with paper tags stating their World's Fair origins (the tag is missing on this one). This dresser or vanity item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs; the gilding is intact except for the very bottom at the rim, and the mirror has only slight speckling of the silvering. A scarce and vintage piece of entertainment memorabilia from c1950s-60s. This is a painted plastic and cloth hand puppet depicting Curly Howard, one of the original Three Stooges. He measures 10" x 8", and the plastic is painted with blue, black and white eyes, pink lips, brown brows and light brown hair. The cloth body on this unsigned puppet is in a yellow green with black and red designs depicting boxing gloves and trunks. It is in excellent original condition with no cracks, scrapes, losses, damage or repairs other than a touch of loss to one eyebrow; the cloth is intact without seam splits, tears, soiling or fading. A splendid c1910-20 fringed beaded purse, made in France. This 4-3/4 x 3-3/4" purse has additional 1-1/2" fringe and a beaded 12" strap-style handle. It also has a fine gilt glass button and its original Made In France tag sewn on to its original moire lining. This item is in very fine original condition with no damage or repairs other than the possible loss of the extreme left hand strand of fringe and some looseness of the threading around the button hole. This is a 2-7/8" long and 1-1/2" across the bowl silver plated tea caddy spoon of the RMS Franconia III. Launched as the RMS Ivernia II and renamed the RMS Franconia in 1963, The Ivernia II was one of four sister ships in the Saxonia class passenger liners of Cunard in 1955. It was refitted and renamed the Franconia III in 1962-3, and was active from 1963-71. In 1971, she was docked and sold soon after to the Black Sea Shipping Co (Russia) and re-named the Fedor Shalyapin. It was scrapped in 2004. This item is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, dents, monograms, corrosion, repairs or damage other than the loss of about half of the silver plating.
