Unusual, vintage, Canadian and, amazingly, still full c1940s-50. This is an original green glass 6 ounce 6-5/8" bottle of the long-defunct Canada Dry Ginger Beer with the original litho cap and paper labels. The bottle has the following molded into the design: NO DEPOSIT * NO RETURN NI DEPOT * 6 FL. OZ. on the shoulder, 17 plus some symbols around the foot and NOT TO BE REFILLED A NE PAS REMPLIR on the bottom. The cap says CANADA DRY LIMITED H.O. TORONTO, CANADA SODIUM BENZOATE ADDED. Although slightly clouded, the original contents are present with no losses to the fluid level over the last 55-65 years or so (we recommend lots of ice and up-to-date insurance if you're contemplating trying it). This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some greasy areas to the collar label and cap and a couple of minor tears to the lower label. All graphics are strong and intact, and all items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. starts at $8 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card. Items paid with a credit card will be shipped to confirmed addresses only. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $US. NOTE: we DO NOT accept PayPal.

A vintage 6-1/2 x 4" and 7-1/2" high rectangular Ocean Blend Indian & Ceylon Tea tin with a deep teal blue background and superb graphics of a steamship. This Canadian (Toronto and Peterboro (sic)) tin was manufactured by Macdonald Mfg. Co. Limited Toronto; we haven't seen one with the blue colour before. This excellent advertising piece is in very good original condition with the following condition notes: one panel and one side excellent graphics and colour with minor spotting and scrapes, one side panel scrapes to paint below TEA, other side panel spots of wear and stains/residue from masking tape (not removed), surface scraping and loss of surface to lid, small dent to edge at one side panel, and splits to rear of lid at the hinges (from surface to hinge). Otherwise this is a nice, clean presentable example. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. starts at $9 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card. Items paid with a credit card will be shipped to confirmed addresses only. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $US. NOTE: we do not accept PayPal.
