A heavy, vintage Art Deco 3-3/8 x 3-1/4" sterling silver cigarette case fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1936. It has a textured finish with stepped sides, a gilt and hallmarked interior and a pushbutton clasp. It has a cigarette retaining cloth strip and a JH monogram; it weighs an impressive 101.2 grams (over 3 ounces) and it is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A great looking vintage silver and gold plated metal 9-7/8" tall cigar lighter in the form of an early street light or lamp. It has a detachable cap covering the flint, wheel and wick cylindrical lighter. It has a lion or griffon figure over an E maker's mark; the lighter is in a screw-mounted container which anchors the lantern top. This item is in excellent original condition with no dents, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of flattening to the cover and the lack of an easily purchased flint. A fine sterling silver mounted 1-3/4" cigarette holder in its original sterling silver fob-style case. The holder has an amber or celluloid mouthpiece and fine hand engraving; the hand-engraved 2" case features a loop for hanging from a watch or neck chain and it is stamped STERLING SILVER. This item is in very good original condition with no chips, cracks, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than a small loss to the holder's silver, some darkening of the amber from use, and a dent on the case. An unusual accessory for your cow horn living room suite - this is a late 19th century 8-1/4" pipe or cigar rest and ashtray made of genuine cowhorn. This item features a cowhorn base held with a nut and bolt, and a brass rest for a pipe or cigar. Dating to the 1880s, this unusual smoking collectible is in very good original condition with no cracks, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a crack from use and drying in the "bowl", some minor downward bending to the (formerly curved) rest and some looseness at the bolt. An American sterling silver two blade pipe knife with tamper c1930s, made by R. Blackinton (1862-1967) of Attleboro, Massachusetts. This 2-3/8" knife has the reamer and pick knives, and it is stamped STERLING with the Blackinton marks on the bale (loop). This item is in excellent original condition with no scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A vintage novel match striker for your desk or smoking stand. This is a Japan bisque match striker in the form of a skull sitting on a book c1920-30. This 2-1/4" wide and 3" tall striker has hand applied cold painting, with brown on the book and black on the skull. This conversation piece has a later 1943 pencil dedication on the bottom, and it is in very good original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, damage or repairs other than some minor rubs and tiny losses to the black and brown paint. Please note that the teeth are glazed over with a glossy finish, giving this macabre piece a bright Colgate smile.
