A superbly detailed pair of repousse high grade silver 4-7/8" x 4" sweetmeat or nut dishes, most likely Burmese in origin. These lovely serving pieces feature gilt interiors and wildlife scenes around the exterior depicting panthers, elephants, birds, dogs, rabbits and others, all with a backdrop of palm trees and tropical foliage. They are unmarked except for a large hand-tooled peacock figure on the bottom of each bowl, and they test as very high grade silver. These bowls weigh 174 grams in total, and they are in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a tiny notch on the upper edge of one bowl from the testing of the silver content. A simple and elegant Art Deco design four piece sterling silver International tea set c1930s. It consists of the following: the 8" across the handle and spout and 6" high wicker handled teapot, stamped STERLING 2 PTs and 913 with the International plumed knight's helmet mark; the open sugar bowl, 4-1/2" across the handles and 2-1/8" high, stamped INTERNATIONAL STERLING c134, also with the knight's helmet mark; the cream jug, 3-1/2" across the handle and spout and 3" high, stamped INTERNATIONAL STERLING C 134 also with the knight's helmet mark. The tray is made by Towle and it is stamped TOWLE STERLING and 150. The set fits well and looks great on it, although it isn't the same maker (slight surface marks from the tea set). It measures 10-1/2" across, and has a raised straight rim that is 5/8" across and has a rolled edge. The edge curves down, approximately 5/8" deep, to an inner rim. This set is in excellent condition, with no dents, corrosion, monograms, repairs or damage. The set weighs 1074 grams (approximately 34.6 troy ounces or just over 38 avoirdupois ounces, or a bit over 2 pounds of sterling silver). It has a clean and elegant deco design that would fit beautifully in a modern decor. All

A vintage and period 4-5/8" x 3-1/2" sterling silver cigarette case with the unusual addition of an enamelled RCMP crest. This case features the MAINTIENS LE DROIT ROYAL CANADIAN MOUNTED POLICE crest in the lower right corner; it has a JLC monogram and an engine-turned finish. The interior is gilded and it has metal cigarette retaining strip. It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1940, and it weighs an impressive 168 grams. A tall and very heavy Spanish sterling silver ewer or water pitcher by Montejo of Madrid. It stands 13-5/8" to the top of the handle and it is constructed of very thick silver. It has the Spanish silver mark and that of Montejo and it has the original foil sticker stating "JOYERIA PLATERIA MONTEJO GOYA 25 MADRID".
