A scarce vintage 8" x 8" printed cotton handkerchief with images by Mabel Lucie Atwell c1910-20. This hanky has whimsically drawn coloured birds, lamb, squirrel, snail, mouse and a child cuddling a lamb, with the legend WEDNESDAY. This item is in excellent original condition with no rips, tears, stains, losses, damage or repairs. The hanky is clean, however the hanky appears a little soiled in our scans. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted. Surface shipping is $5 for surface parcel post (to the US - other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card. We do ship internationally. A vintage 8" x 8" pure silk printed child's handkerchief depicting British Beefeater guards, airplanes, and a boy with a gun. It is unsigned, and the figures include two marching guards, a bugler, drummer, parade leader with sword, a shooting boy in shorts, and two airplanes. This World War I vintage hanky is in very good original condition with no losses, damage or repairs other than a small 1/4 x 1/8" tear, three staple holes, one tiny hole at the edge and a small dime-sized light stain. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted.
