A 1-1/16" across silver cased open-face size 0 Elgin 15 jewels pendant pocket watch. This watch has blued hands with a sweep central mount seconds hand. The works are marked ELGIN.U.S.A. 37779504 15 JEWELS (manufacturing date 1937). The sterling case is stamped CASED AND TIMED BY ELGIN NATIONAL WATCH CO. STAR CASE WATCH COMPANY STERLING SILVER 2724100. It has a dedication on the back in French celebrating a 25th anniversary (1915-40). We have been unable to identify this exact movement (maybe you can help). This watch is in excellent original working condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than expected signs of use and minor scrathcing to the crystal and some minor rubs to the markings on the face. We recommend all timepieces be professionally cleaned and adjusted, and this watch is being sold as described, without warranty.
