A 7-1/2" German or Austrian porcelain hand painted figurine of a bugler. This mid to late 19th century figure features fine hand painting with gold, orange, blue, tan and realistic flesh colours; it is in a style similar to Heubach figures, but many European factories of this period were producing such figures, and it has a shiny rather than matte glaze. An early English pearl stoneware 7-7/8" plate with purple transfer Chinese-style decoration similar to the Willow pattern. This plate has the early mark of Podmore, Walker & Co. in use from 1834-59, the pattern is called "Tempel", and this plate dates to the c1840-50 era. A fine large early to mid 19th century polychrome flow blue serving or meat platter in the Chusan pattern by Wedgwood. Besides the rich and deep cobalt colour, it has been decorated in mustard yellow, deep rust red and green. It also has been gilded - there is some wear to the gold, but about 80% is intact. An unusual vintage English stoneware tankard made by Doulton Lambeth c1914. This 4" high mug has a nice mocha and chocolate colour body with applied raised green decoration and a thick applied strap handle. It has the motto "Bitter must be the cup that a smile will not sweeten", and it has the mark in use from 1891-1956, as well as the 7780 number corresponding to 1914. A fine quality, fully handpainted English bone china covered oval entree dish dated 1907. Made by Royal Crown Derby in the 6452 pattern, this 11-1/4 x 7-3/4" serving dish has a cobalt band, lush gold painting including a grape vine motif and white enamel jewelling. An attractive unsigned late 19th century English ceramic 12-1/2" double-handled mantle vase c1880s. Entirely hand painted in the Imari palette with cobalt, orange and rich gold highlights and panels, this vase is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs other than some overall crazing and some minor gold wear, mostly on the handles.
