This 24-3/8 x 19-3/4" painted metal tray features a large central basket of colourful and varied flowers; it has a floreate stepped edge and the G. J. Rudolph artist's signature. A fine pair of c1890 folding glasses or lorgnettes made of 14 carat yellow gold. These eyeglasses have 1-3/8 x 1" oval lenses, and they have a mounting hook for folding and a loop for suspension by a ribbon or cord. They retain one nosepiece (probably gutta percha, one is missing) and they are is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, corrosion, repairs or damage other than the one missing nosepiece (they include a partial part of the original cardboard case). A Victorian sterling silver engraved pepperette or spice shaker by the famous makers Roberts & Briggs, fully hallmarked for London, England 1861. This 3-7/8" tall shaker has a pierced domed lid with finial and a bulbous body with the fine engraving typical of Roberts and Briggs, it is hallmarked on both pieces and it weighs 50 grams. An elegant and beautiful English sterling silver 19th century pierced ladle with fine hand-engraving and repousse work. The 2" x 1-5/8" fluted bowl features hand-embossed and engraved flowers with crosses, teardrops and small round strainer holes. The handle has foliate hand engraving with no monogram, and this lovely ladle features full hallmarks for Exeter, England 1855 (maker's mark ES).
