A decorative, vintage and stunning handpainted and signed large toleware display or serving tray c1860. This 24-3/8 x 19-3/4" painted metal tray features a large central basket of colourful and varied flowers; it has a floreate stepped edge and the G. J. Rudolph artist's signature. An early Victorian pair of English sterling silver serving or table spoons, made by Wm. Pope, Exeter, England. Hallmarked for the year 1841, these 8-7/8" spoons each weigh 80 grams, and both have a gothic MAPE monogram. This pair is in excellent original condition with no scrapes, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A fine pair of c1890 folding glasses or lorgnettes made of 14 carat yellow gold. These eyeglasses have 1-3/8 x 1" oval lenses, and they have a mounting hook for folding and a loop for suspension by a ribbon or cord. They retain one nosepiece (probably gutta percha, one is missing) and they are is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, corrosion, repairs or damage other than the one missing nosepiece (they include a partial part of the original cardboard case).
