A handpainted Danish porcelain figure made by Aluminia, from the Child Welfare series designed by Herlef Jensenius and modeled by Hans Hansen. This series was in production from c1941-65, and this example is called Cousin from Amager (#2284). A fine Swedish stoneware pottery round 9-3/4" tray by Ingrid Atterberg, who worked for Uppsala Ekeby from 1953-63. This tray is in the Roma line, and it pattern number 2240; it was in production from 1963-65 and it features an impressed rim and a pale lemon yellow glossy glaze on the interior and black on the exterior.
