A fine vintage Art Deco small ashtray made of solid banded carnelian agate with a finely detailed gilded bronze or brass elephant at one end c1920s. Measuring 2-1/2" x 2" at its widest, this angular Deco ashtray has lovely workmanship, from the detail on the elephant to the slight bevelling to the edges of the stone.
