An attractive antique Japanese 7-1/2" shallow 1-1/4" high bowl in the Imari palette from the 19th century. This lovely export piece has nice enamelled decoration of floral and bamboo panels with a peach in the centre, in gold, orange, green, yellow, light blue and cobalt blue with fine gold diapering. A high quality late 18th-early 19th century Chinese Canton enamel bowl on bronze with original gilding c1800. This lobed 7-3/4" x 6-1/4" beauty stands 3-1/8" high; the hand enamelling is particularly fine, done to the Chinese taste, and the rim retains much of its original gilding.
