Scarce Early William SPRATLING STERLING RING c1930s

An early and hard to find silver ring by William Spratling. It has the WS print mark signature which was in use from 1931-1938 or 1939 (our thanks to the Phyllis Goddard Mexican silver site), and stylistically, it would match well with the River of Life bracelet. It is a well made ring and it is very high grade silver (tests higher than sterling grade, most likely .980 grade, which Spratling popularized the use of) although it does not have a silver mark (we did test it). It is very comfortable on, fitting a size 7, and has a lovely soft silver patina. Unfortunately, it has a shallow dent on the ball/front of the ring, as you hopefully can see in the picture - it is far more noticeable in the picture than in real life (and can be restored by a professional). Other than that, it is in excellent original condition. A real find for a Spratling collector! Surface shipping is $6 (to the US - other spots may vary) - insured is higher. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $USD.
